The conflicts of World War II lead to tension between the Soviet Union and the United States. The tension lead to The Greek Civil War. The U.S. had formed the Truman Doctrine, which allowed America to help Greece fight communism expansion. Without the Truman Doctrine, the outcome of the war could’ve ended in Greece becoming a communist country.
